SADIE REUTER

This lamp is composed of 55 pyramids of paper. Each pyramid is a different height, but the base shape remains the same for each -- an equilateral triangle with two-inch sides. The lamp was inspired by iterations of paper cones and pyramids. The lamp achieves an almost natural crystalline formation from the variance of the components and the rigid structure. It plays with light as the longer pyramids appear dark at the ends furthest from the light source.
